Magnetite Australia has been presented with two awards at the Australian Business Awards, in the categories of Best Value Product and Service Excellence, announced on 19th June 2009.

The Magnetite Windows Adelaide franchise recently completed a second installation project at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel in Adelaide. Magnetite's secondary window insulation system has significantly reduced noise levels in guest rooms that were experiencing traffic noise. The original project was completed in 2006 and since then the system has undergone internal noise testing by the hotel. This testing reinforces testing undertaken by the National Acoustic Laboratory on Magnetite.

This year the team at Magnetite took part in the Moustache growing charity month Movember to help raise awareness for men's health issues such as depression and prostate cancer.
